New online course – The aim of this qualification is to develop candidates with existing knowledge and skills in gym instruction who would like to pursue a career in personal training. The qualification will be delivered live online over six days (3 consecutive weekends) with the use of online lectures, and learning resources. It is only the practical assessment that will be required to be held at one of our facilities face to face. Once the candidate is qualified, they will be able to train clients on a one-to-one basis and in small groups using advanced training methods and creating programs specific to the client's needs. This qualification also includes business skills which is an important part of starting a new career as a Personal Trainer.

This course will provide learners with the information they need to progress to becoming a fully qualified coach, including assisting athletes at national competitions as their qualified coach – once a BWL Coach Licence has been applied for.

We have updated our Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Weightlifting to include the latest technical updates from BWL. We have also added lots of new content specific to this online course to help you achieve this qualification.

This course is ideal for those who are interested in starting their career as a group training to music instructor. It is vital for a group trainer to have the knowledge and skills necessary to support customers in achieving their goals. The course is taught through blended learning which is a mixture of home study and six attendance days. This qualification replaced the old Exercise to Music qualification as it has been updated with the current industry requirements for Group Training.

We recommend that you attend a range of fitness classes prior to your group training course. This will allow you to build a wider knowledge base before the course commences. Some of the classes we would recommend would be free-style aerobics, cardio classes to music, strength and/ or conditioning classes to music, for example, legs, bums and tums, Les Mills bodypump, body combat, etc.
