Module 5 (2 days)

Low Back Health/Pain Workshop

This Module is all about building confidence through gaining a deeper level of understanding clinical conditions that can affect our clients movement issues. Including detailed study of spinal anatomy, how to apply manual articulations for tricky clients, understanding the influence of present clinical conditions on LBP & understanding MRI scans & reports.

We will discuss referral pathways, organisations involved in LBP management in the UK.
Also implement objective case history taking & linking with other professionals that can be used in the referral process. The main barriers to participation can be identified through key red & yellow flags for clients with LBP. We will also highlight the NICE recommendations & key stages of change along with the use of pain questionnaires. Learners will also know when to refer & when it is safe to continue with exercises.

While NOT a clinical qualification this workshop, which combines theory & practical, gives you a deeper understanding of clinical conditions that can affect low back health. Learn what an MRI scan or report is telling us, understand clinical conditions that may affect your client’s low back health & learn manual articulations of the spine.

We empower you to understand all this information! By teaching us ALL a common language we address what is known in the industry as ‘the missing link’ and help both health professional and personal trainers understand their clients needs.

This workshop also makes up as credit towards the full Diploma in Biomechanics Coaching. There is a total of 5 workshop to collect towards this high standard & superior diploma. Get in touch to find out more 07976 933113.
